I grew up in Madison Wisconsin (a professed cheese head) and have always had a passion for music. My Martin Guitar is my go to guitar, I also play Cello, Keyboard, and Bass. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and have taught private voice and guitar lessons and have directed many choirs. I am an ordained Minister and have professional experience since 2002 as a Full Time Music and Worship Pastor in various Midwest churches. I have presented a number of Music and Worship seminars training vocalists, sound and lighting technicians, band members, and worship leaders. I have worked with bands in churches and have led Worship for over 30 years along with touring and performing for State and County fairs, and music festivals. I have worked with AMS since 2015 and love helping our customers acquire the gear of their needs and dreams.

I’ve been referred to as a Swiss Army Knife in the studio. Whether it’s writing, producing, singing or recording. Production and vocals have always been a passion of mine in addition to playing guitar and piano.

Going to school in Los Angeles for Audio Engineering led me to recording studios where I’ve been blessed to work with Grammy nominated artists such as Swae Lee, Desiigner, Alessia Cara, Rico Love and more. Now I enjoying making my own music, building my own studio, and helping people select the gear to make that next #1 hit!

I am a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer with 15 years of touring and studio experience.

Working Music Retail the past 10 years has allowed me to experiment with a vast variety of instruments. I’ve had the privilege of recently being Martin Factory trained, and I own over 15 guitars. My ’77 Fender P-Bass has got to be my prized possession, along with my ’04 Gibson LP Standard AA flame top you see me playing in my profile picture. I’m also an accomplished gigging drummer, vocalist and keyboard player. Music is my passion, music is my life. I love working in an environment where I help customers figure out what the best gear options are for their situation.

I graduated with a recording/production degree at Appalachian State University, and soon after went onto become a studio vocalist in Charlotte, NC, all the while fronting successful regional bands. I have been a professional musician for over 24 years. For 14 years I co-ran a Karaoke/DJ company in North Carolina. That company, Chubby’s Karaoke, then expanded to Cancun Mexico where I co-ran the night club Pancho & Willy’s while also heading up the house band Flashback. My favorite piece of gear right now is the Electro-Voice Evolve 50 rig. I currently live in Minnesota with my family, fronting the band RadioKing and loving selling gear to my customers at American Musical Supply!

Since a very young age, I have been fortunate to be involved in music as my main passion in life.  What began by learning a few cowboy chords on acoustic guitar as a teen, quickly progressed into a drive to play as many instruments as I could get my hands on. In the process I fell in love with recording technology and the process of writing, arranging, and producing my own music as well as playing supporting roles in other groups with my friends.

My career has followed that path from working in professional recording studios and music houses, performing all over the United States as a touring musician, over a decade of helping customers in brick-and-mortar music instrument stores, and now as a Sales Agent for American Musical Supply.

Whatever point you find yourself at in your own musical journey, I would be happy to apply my experience to any questions you may have in the service of making your music sound better than ever!

My love of music started when my mom handed me her classical guitar as a little kid. I’ve still got that ’76 Yamaha hanging on my wall, and I always will. As I grew up I picked up guitar, bass, drums, a bit of vocals, and became a gigging musician. I’ve spent my fair share of time in music and instrument stores, studying music and instrumentation, going to shows, and loving every minute of it. I have had the opportunity to do a bit of touring, play support for several shows, and have become more and more of a gear head each step of the way. I can’t wait to hear from you and get you the gear you’ve been dreaming about!

Growing up in a musical family, starting touring at 15, and later going to college for composition studies I have been surrounded by music my entire life. I went on to work in a small “mom and pop” music store for over 6 years gaining endless knowledge in guitars, basses, fx pedals, amps, and repair work. Beyond my past I am currently an active musician working in the Minneapolis area and I have been writing, performing, and recording heavy styles of music for over 10 years and have performed on 7 full length albums. My love for music extends to all genres and I have found unbelievable amounts of joy helping people build their dream rigs. Whether it be a recording, DJ, guitar, live sound or anything from beginner to pro I am here to help you make music and have fun doing it.

Since I heard Angus Young strum an A chord, I was instantly hooked. Growing up in northern Minnesota, I spent my early part of my life jamming with my musical family. It all made sense and still does.

When I became a teenager, I started playing contests and bars across the Midwest. And when I was old enough to be on my own, I ventured to the Twin Cities to explore the musical world even more. I started working in music stores and in 2016 I joined the American Musical Supply family.

The Gibson SG is my main choice of guitar, along with my Friedman amplifier.

Recording, playing, and working with music is my passion. Some may say I am a glorified guitar freak. I appreciate your business and I am here to help with all your musical needs.
